<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus capable of double-sided image formation, whose inside is prevented from becoming overheated and concurrently, which prevents failures such as paper waviness and others from occurring due to condensation. <P>SOLUTION: At least a pair of outside air inlet fan 41 sucking air from the outside to the inside of the machine, and a ventilating fan 42 exhausting the air from the inside to the outside of the machine are provided at a ventilation enabled position, in a housing 40A where a paper ejection conveyance path 27 and a reverse conveyance path 31 for transfer paper ejected from a fixing unit 18 face.
