PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal and a communication terminal control method which can improve security concerning the communication terminal and a network when connecting with the network using the profile.

SOLUTION: The device is composed by including a profile storing means 11 for storing the profile which is composed by combining connection information for connecting with the desired network, a connecting means 12 which connects with the desired network using the profile including policy information regarding network connection, and a connection control means 13 which controls network connection in accordance with the policy information when the connecting means 12 connects with the desired network.
