PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a control device and a control method for sufficiently achieving effect by a simple device and a simple method without needing an expensive hardware, software or a specialist for processing information in controlling air volume in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: The air conditioning device and method comprise an air volume control portion for controlling air distributing capacity on the basis of information on outside air temperature. The air volume control device comprises an air volume setting unit for controlling the air distributing capacity of a blower on the basis of the information on outside air temperature, and the air volume control method has an air volume control means for controlling the air distributing capacity of the blower on the basis of the information on outside air temperature.
