<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and greened cover lid for covering one of various treating tanks in drinking water treatment plants, sewage plants, excreta disposal treatment plants, and the like, various treating tanks disposed in factories, and water tanks. <P>SOLUTION: This cover lid for covering the upper opening of a water tank or a water way is characterized by attaching a bryophyte-carrying member to the upper side of a cover lid main body to cover the upper side. Since the bryophytes can grow without needing soil, differently from conventional succulent plants such as trees, lawns or sedum, the cover lid can extremely be lightened. Additionally, since soil does not fall in a water tank or a water way, the water tank or the water way is not polluted with microorganisms in the soil.
