PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a service area of an SFN (single frequency network) in a communication/broadcasting system using a transmission system with a guard interval. SOLUTION: A repeating device 1 of a ground relay station 20 transmits data stored beforehand by a delay time established according to a transmission direction of a radio wave. Delay timesτ1 toτ4 are established for delay circuits 3-1 to 4 of the repeating device 1. A control means transmits the data stored beforehand through transmission antennas 2-1 to 4 based on the delay timeτ1 toτ4. The transmission antenna 2-1 is used to transmit the radio wave to an area in a direction in which a satellite station positions. The delay circuit 3-1 sets the delay timeτ1 so that delay time becomes small. By this, the repeating station 1 can transmit data to the area in the direction in which the satellite station 10 positions in early timing than receiving data from the satellite station 10.
