PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved television guide system. SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, the invention provides the generation method of television guide information for viewers that includes the steps of: inputting reservation guide information into the guide system; receiving a user input for identifying a specific program in the reservation guide information; and identifying another time when the specific program is broadcasted, for the user. Thus, multiple occurrences of a single program can be identified for the user. For example, in many of today's digital satellite systems, specified movies are broadcasted on many channels with different start times. The guide system of the present invention enables the user to identify a specific program and, thereafter, identify when the identified specific program is re-broadcasted.
