PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a widely usable bathing garment to which powder of functional substance exerting efficacy good for health such as far-infrared radiation effect is added: and to provide a bathing method comprising wearing the bathing garment even when a wearer takes a bath so as to save troublesome labor and avoid waste unlike using bath water additive, and usable even when taking a bath without getting into bath water as in taking a sauna. SOLUTION: The bathing garment B1 is formed of a sheet 1 obtained by addition of the powder of functional substance generating far-infrared radiation or the like or titanium oxide and having an almost oblong shape or the like and a size applicable to be worn, and has the following structure: a through-hole 2 through which the head (m) is passed is made almost at the center of the sheet, longitudinally extending cuts 5, 5 at respective outboard sides, open at tip end 1(a) in a longitudinal direction of the sheet 1, and are provided at least at one end periphery 1(a) of the sheet 1, and sash-like piece parts 6, 6 folded around the body to be tied at the outer side of each cut 5.
