PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrel device for plating by which the variation in the film thickness of a formed plating film is reduced. SOLUTION: The barrel device 10 for plating comprises a barrel 12. The barrel 12 is formed by joining six side plates 14 and two bottom plates 16 to a hollow hexagonal column shape. The inside face of each side plate 14 is provided with seven projection parts 18 at intervals to the longitudinal direction of each side plate 14, i.e., at intervals to a direction parallel to the rotary shaft as the central shaft of the barrel 12.
