PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly correct camera shake even on an instantaneous shift to a photographing operation. SOLUTION: A camera 10 is provided with gyro sensors 20A and 20B equipped with a sleep mode function, and high-pass filters 22A and 22B. When power is supplied to the camera 10, the gyro sensors 20A and 20B are set to the on-state of a sleep mode, and the same voltage V<SB>0</SB>as reference voltage V<SB>ref</SB>is output from the gyro sensors 20A and 20B to the high-pass filters 22A and 22B.
