PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement improving method capable of quickly and economically improving a pavement, without using a relatively large-scale device. SOLUTION: This pavement improving method has mainly a heating process of heating a pavement layer 1 formed on the surface of a flame retardant base layer 3 and composed of a mixture including a thermoplastic resin by a burner, a separation process of separating the pavement layer 1 heated by the heating process from the surface of the base layer 3, and a repaving process of repaving the pavement layer 1 by applying and hardening the liquid mixture on the surface of the base layer 3 of separating the pavement layer 1. In the method, the thermoplastic resin is further desirably applied by resin mainly composed of a methyl methacrylate monomer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
