PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board connecting fitting which enables the simple connection of boards, and a box body which is formed of the plurality of boards by means of the connecting fitting. SOLUTION: This board connecting fitting A comprises an almost U-shaped cross-section board fit-in groove part 1 into which an end of the board 6 is to be fitted, and an almost L-shaped cross-section fixing part 2 which is continuously provided in the groove part 1. In the connecting fitting A, fixing screw holes 3 and 4 are provided in two fixing pieces 21 and 22 which constitute an L-shape of the fixing part 2, respectively. The box body B is formed by connecting the plurality of boards 6 together by means of the connecting fittings A. Preferably, an end of a front-side lateral surface of the board 6, in which the groove part 11 is formed, is almost perpendicularly bent inward to serve as a board pressing piece 11.
