<p>An oil-based ink composition for writing utensils which contains a soluble gellant and, despite this, can have improved ink storage stability while retaining leveling properties. The oil-based ink composition for writing utensils comprises a colorant, a resin, an organic solvent, and gellants, wherein the organic solvent comprises at least one organic solvent selected among hydrocarbon solvents, especially from the group consisting of aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, alicyclic hydrocarbon solvents, aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, and halogenated hydrocarbon solvents and the gellants comprise a soluble gellant which is soluble in the organic solvent and an insoluble gellant which is insoluble in the organic solvent, the insoluble gellant being a urea-modified thixotropic agent.</p> |
