A method for manufacturing a flexible display device is provided to perform the manufacturing process of the flexible display device accurately and easily, by forming thin film patterns on the plural divided substrates supported by a supporter, and then removing the supporter from the divided substrates. A first flexible mother substrate(10) is adhered to a first supporter(60). The first flexible mother substrate is divided into a plurality of first substrates. Thin film patterns are respectively formed on the first substrates. A second flexible mother substrate is adhered to a second supporter. The second flexible mother substrate is divided into a plurality of second substrates. Thin film patterns are respectively formed on the second substrates. The corresponding first and second substrates are coupled with each other, and then the first and second supports are respectively removed from the first and second substrates.
