A broadcasting system for a full-duplex digital multimedia broadcasting service and a method thereof are provided to make link data include into a high speed information block of a high speed information channel. The FIG(Fast Information Group) comprises an FIG header and an FIG data field. The header comprises the FIG extension of 3 bits and the length of 5 bits. When using a specific FIG as the link data, one of the present reserved extensions is designated and used. When using the FIG data field as the link data, the link data comprises a service channel field, an application identification field, an activation time field, a link path field, a pop-up message field and a finish field. The service channel field is a field for designating a broadcasting channel for the link data.
