A device and a method for sensing condensed water of a dehumidifier are provided to precisely sense states of condensed water received in a bucket and prevent leakage of the condensed water for preventing malfunction of the dehumidifier. A device and a method for sensing condensed water of a dehumidifier includes a bucket(30) for receiving condensed water(A) generated by dehumidifying operations of a heat exchanger(20). Water level sensors(110,120) are symmetrically provided at upper parts of the bucket for sensing water level of the condensed water in the bucket. A display unit(200) displays the sensed water level. A control part controls various driving elements according to input signals from the water level sensors. The display unit includes a current water level display part(210), a full water level display part(220), and a tilt display level(230) for displaying tilting of water surface of the condensed water in the bucket.
