PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket for attaching a curtain rail which is surely fixed to a wall or a window frame and having superior attaching workability and maintenability. SOLUTION: This bracket 1 for attaching the curtain rail is provided with a groove 3 cut in an attachment face 2 of a bracket body, and an attachment plate 30 attached to the groove 3. This bracket for attaching the curtain rail is characterized in that the attachment plate 30 is provided with a locking hole 32 to which a swelled part 25 of a projection 24 projecting from a face 20 for fixing the bracket 1 is locked, and the bracket body 1 is provided with a space part 4 adjoining the opposite side of the attachment face 2 of the locking hole 32, and a through-hole 5 communicating with the space part 4.
