PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal cover in which easiness and hardness of opening of a front cover is changed according to the situation and a locking force is sufficiently demonstrated when it is required to make it hard to open. SOLUTION: The terminal cover 1 insulates and protects a connector 3 to be connected to a bolt-nut type fixed terminal 5 while being installed on a terminal of an electric wire 2. Further, the terminal cover has a main body 6 having a terminal protection part 8 and an electric wire protection part 9 formed and a lid 7 to cover this main body. The lid 7 has a front cover 25 and a rear cover 26 and the rear edge of the front cover is connected to the front edge of the rear cover 26 through a hinge 27 in free opening and closing. A main locking mechanism by means of a locking frame 33 formed at the front cover 25 and a locking projection 17 formed at the terminal protection part 8 makes move the locking projection 17 to a prescribed locking position for the first time when the main body 6 is set to a pedestal 42 of the bolt-nut type fixed terminal 5.
