PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium, a method constituting its control information, a recording and/or reproducing method using the control information, and its device. SOLUTION: This invention provides a method of recording control information on a writable optical disk comprising at least one recording layer. When recording control information in an administrative area of optical disk comprising at least one or more recording layers, this invention includes the step of providing control information to each of at least one or more recording layers by recording speed, the step of recording information for identifying type of control information corresponding to contents of control information, and the step of recording a write strategy (WS) which interacts with types of control information. Since CLV and CAV can be separately recorded when recording write strategy (WS) in the contents of disk information, they can respond to recording/reproducing of optical disk efficiently.
