Lower spring systems for mattresses of, in particular, furniture for sleeping upon exist, which have slats resilient for the mattresses that are supported at opposing ends on the frame by means of elastic supporting means. The supporting means and the resilient slats elastically give way when the mattresses are subjected to a load. Incidentally, the supporting means and the resilient slats are, however, passive. The invention relates to stimulation actuators that exert any type of movements upon the lower spring system. The lower spring system has lifting elements (11) that are elastically supported by means of elastic elements (14). The elastic elements (14) are arranged in such a manner that at least one main direction of work extends at an angle to the direction of motion of the lifting element. This enables the lifting element (11) to have a particularly low overall height. The supporting surface of the lower spring support can be moved up and down by the lifting element (11) and by the elastic element (14) whereby enabling an individual stimulation and movement of a person lying upon the mattress. |
