APPARATUS FOR CONVERTING MICROARRAY DATA

It is intended to provide an apparatus for converting microarray data which makes it possible to directly compare a plural number of expression profile data obtained from a plural number of time-series microarray tests. To enable direct comparison between two time-series microarray data obtained from two different time-series microarray tests, these time-series microarray data are converted. A gene having a high sequence homology is selected from each of the two time-series microarray tests as described above to give a pair of genes. Thus, a plural number of these gene pairs are selected. By using an apparatus (10) for converting microarray data having a pair selection part (1) and a computation part (2) wherein the time axes are normalized concerning the time-series microarray data of the gene pairs as described above, a plural number of profile data, which are obtained from the plural number of time-series microarray tests, can be directly compared.
