Disclosed is a structure of a stain-resistant coating film which can show an excellent anti-stain effect even when the coating film is produced using a smaller amount of a hydrophilic particle than in a conventional one and an inexpensive general-purpose hydrophobic coating polymer. A structure of a stain-resistant coating film comprising (A) 10 to 50 parts by mass of a hydrophilic particle dispersed in (B) 100 parts by mass of a hydrophobic polymer, the hydrophilic particle (A) having a number average particle diameter of 50 nm or smaller and the free surface of the coating film having a surface roughness (a) of 50 nm or less as measured with a reference length of 500 nm.
