<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of maintaining excellent sealing performance and durability with a simple composition. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing device A is composed so as to seal a gap between a fixed side member 4 and a rotating side member 3. A slinger 8 consists of a fitting cylinder 8a fitted to the rotating side member 3 and a collar-like part 8b extended in the radial direction at one end disposed on the outside with respect to the sealed part S of the fitting cylinder 8a. A core metal 6 is equipped with at least a fitting cylinder 6a fitted to the fixed side member 4. One end 6c disposed on the outside with respect to a sealed region S of the fitting cylinder 6a is projected on the sealed part S side from a sealed part S side inner surface position F of the collar-like part 8b in the slinger 8. A part 7c of a seal lip is formed to project from the proximity of one end 6c of the fitting cylinder 6a in the core metal 6, and to come into elastic slide contact with the extended end surface 8c of the slinger 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
