<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of preventing deterioration of subjective image quality and enhancing coding performance in various video sequences. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor has a sound signal analysis part 2 which analyzes an inputted sound signal to output sound information reflecting human characteristics, a coding control part 3 which generates and outputs operating conditions of image coding according to the sound information to be outputted from the sound signal analysis part and an image coding part 4 which codes the inputted image signal according to the operating conditions of image coding to be outputted from the coding control part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
