<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely manufacture a lithium tantalate crystal having conductivity of≥1×10<SP>-10</SP>Ω<SP>-1</SP>×cm<SP>-1</SP>with uniformity and good reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the lithium tantalate crystal having higher conductivity comprises exposing a lithium tantalate crystal together with one or more kinds selected from magnesium, calcium, aluminum, lithium, magnesium hydride, aluminum hydride and lithium hydride to a non-oxidizing atmosphere at a temperature T lower than the Curie temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
