PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method of monitoring a function of a medical acceleration apparatus. SOLUTION: In the method of monitoring a function of a medical acceleration apparatus, at least one signal by which at least one action of a medical accelerator is characterized qualitatively is detected automatically and digitalized and the digitalized signal is saved in a data processing unit in order to provide for an evaluation in a frame of an acceleration apparatus functional inspection by an assistance of a subsequent computer.
