PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera with a live-view display function of good operability, by which a live-view image can be easily distinguished from a photographed image. SOLUTION: Regarding the camera, the object image obtained with an object luminous flux passing through a photographic lens 11 is captured by a photographing display element 67. A first reflection mirror 51 which can move backward and forward in an imaging optical path is arranged in the imaging optical path so as to guide the object luminous flux to a finder optical system 50 in the imaging optical path. Further, the object image is formed on a focusing screen 56 with the object luminous flux reflected by the first reflection mirror 51. Finder image data including the object image formed on the focusing screen 56 is captured by a display imager 61. The image captured by the photographing display element 67 and the image captured by the display imager 61 are switchably displayed on a liquid crystal monitor 36 by a Bμcom 80 in accordance with the operation of the first reflection mirror 51.
