PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply marks superior in perceptivity to contact lenses with ease and at low cost, and to prevent degradation of lens strength caused by marking. SOLUTION: A method applies marking to the contact lenses by engraving marking characters or graphics on the optical molding surface of a molding mold used for production of a resin molding mold for contact lenses, and by transferring them through the resin molding mold.
