PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant having at least one action selected from superoxide scavenging action, radical scavenging action and hydrogen peroxide scavenging action, an antiaging agent containing a collagen synthesis promoting substance, and skin cosmetics and food or drink containing the agents.

SOLUTION: The invention provides an antioxidant containing an extract of Oroxylum indicum, an antiaging agent containing an extract of Oroxylum indicum, and skin cosmetics and food or drink containing an extract of Oroxylum indicum as an active component.
