<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device allowing a retainer to hold an inflator without caulking it and reduced in assembling man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag device uses the retainer 69, which is structured of a holding part 70 fitted on the inflator 64 and a bolt part 75, to fasten a nut 76 to the bolt part 75, which is projected from a fixed wall part 29 of a case 17 in the condition wherein the holding part 70 is housed inside an airbag 85, to fix the airbag 85 and the inflator 64 to the fixed wall part 29 of the case 17. The fixed wall part 29 is formed with a support projection 30 projected toward the inflator 64. When the retainer 69 fastens the nut 76, the holding part 70 is moved toward the fixed wall part 29 to nip the inflator 64 to hold it between an abutment part 72 formed in the holding part 70 and the support projection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
