PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device enabling a user to grasp translation accuracy when translating a document from a language into another language.

SOLUTION: A control part 21 of a composite machine 2 reads a document optically and creates document image data and it transmits the created document image data to a computer device 1 with attaching the data to an e-mail. Successively, the control part 21 creates translation data after performing a character recognition process to document image data and translating. It creates an e-mail on which information indicating correspondence with the document image data is written in a predetermined field of an e-mail header and transmits the e-mail with attaching the translation data thereto. When receiving the e-mail to which the document image data is attached and the e-mail to which the translation data is attached, the computer device 1 analyzes the mail headers of the respective e-mails and displays the mail headers with correlating them.
