PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily adhesive polyester film having the excellent adhesiveness with a vaporized metal layer, excellent in gas barrier properties after vapor deposition, especially steam barrier properties and having the excellent adhesiveness with a base material film and gas barrier properties even after high temperature hot water treatment such as boiling, retorting or the like is applied, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This gas barrier polyamide film comprises successively laminating a coating layer, which is composed of a water soluble or dispersible resin (A) and an amino resin (B) containing a triazine ring wherein the weight ratio of (A)/(B) is 60/40-5/95, and an inorganic thin film layer on a base material comprising a polyamide film, wherein the barrier properties (a) at a usual time is 30 ml/m<SP>2</SP>24 hr MPa or below and there is a relation of formula (1): [(b)-(a)]/(a)≤2.0 between the barrier properties (a) and barrier properties (b) after boiling treatment.
