<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fit terminal easily inserted into a terminal insertion hole of a circuit board and hardly coming off from a through-hole over a long time once it is inserted therein. <P>SOLUTION: This press fit terminal 1 has, at a tip part thereof, a tapered tube part 4 reduced in diameter toward the tip, and further has a cylindrical tube part 3 at the rear end part of the tapered tube part 4. The press fit terminal is characterized in that a slit 5 continuing in the axial direction of the press fit terminal 1 is formed in the tapered tube part 4 and the cylindrical tube part 3; and a tapered slit part 5A opened toward the rear end part of the press fit terminal is formed in a part of the slit 5 positioned in the cylindrical tube part 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
