PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-monitoring apparatus, capable of appropriately and quantitatively measuring a concentration of a chemical agent, even when where the concentration of a coexistent material in a sample gas is varied. SOLUTION: The gas-monitoring apparatus 1 comprises: a sample introducing section 3 which introduces the sample gas containing object material to be measured; a coexistent material concentration measuring means 4 for measuring the concentration of a prescribed coexistent material which is included in the sample gas and coexists with the object material to be measured; an ionization section for ionizing the sample gas; a mass spectrometer for analyzing the mass of ions generated by the ionization section; a data processing section 7 which analyzes a signal detected by the mass spectrometer and calculates the concentration of the object material to be measured; and a display section 8 for displaying analysis result which has been analyzed by the data processing section 7. The data processing section 7 has a compensating means which compensates for the concentration of the object material to be measured, in corresponding to the concentration of the prescribed coexistent material.
