PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television tuner manufacturing method for easily managing until shipping of a television tuner in manufacturing the television tuner. SOLUTION: Work (process 101) for mounting a channel selection circuit being a function part, a demodulation circuit, a nonvolatile memory, and a CPU on a circuit board 27 is performed, and next, hardware driver software as tuner control software being a common program regardless of the model of a television tuner, application interface software, channel control software, and the like are downloaded to the nonvolatile memory (process 102). Then, the television tuner that is through the processes so far is inspected (process 103). Display menu control software as television control software being a program (different for every customer) inherent to the model of the television tuner, remote control design software, and the like are downloaded to the nonvolatile memory 25 and shipped (processes 104 and 105).
