PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To playback a favorite music on the air in an FM multiplex broadcasting by an easy operation on the basis of music data existing in an own device. SOLUTION: This player is constituted by including an FM multiplex broadcast receiving means, a music database for storing the ripped music data, a music playback means for reproducing the music data to a sound, an input/output means, and a control means. The control means receives an instruction from the input/output means and acquires the music information of the music being received by the FM multiplex broadcast receiving means from the character information of the FM multiplex broadcast receiving means to retrieve whether the music data corresponding to the music information exist in the music database.
