PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust image preventing device that prevents the shadow of dust, etc., sticking to an optical member disposed in image equipment for generating images from being reflected as image formed by the image equipment, and to provide a camera and optical equipment that use the dust image preventing device. SOLUTION: This electronic camera includes: a CCD 45 that obtains an image signal, corresponding to light emitted onto its photo-electric conversion face; and a dust-proof filter 21 whose transparent part is disposed facing the front of the CCD 45 at a predetermined interval. During exposure, the CCD 45 and the dust-proof filter 21 are relatively moved almost parallel to the imaging face of the CCD 45 by a vibrating member 81. In a region defined by the CCD 45 and the dust-proof filter 21 arranged opposite to each other, a dust-proof filter-receiving member 82, designed so as to seal the empty space on the peripheral edge side, is disposed to define the substantially sealed empty space.
