PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device whose occupying volume is reduced by reducing the number of driving mechanism components. SOLUTION: The image pickup device 100 includes; a lens 2 constituting a co-axial optical system; a holder 12 which holds the lens 2; a slide mechanism which holds the holder 12 so that the holder 12 can move along the optical axisλ; a shutter blade 61; a magnet 71; a first coil 74; and second coils 75 and 76. The magnet 71 is movably supported by the holder 12, and connected to the shutter blade 61. The lens driving mechanism 7a which drives the holder 12 comprises the magnet 71 and the first coil 74.
