PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for filtering events detected in order to determine an event of concern. SOLUTION: Detected events are identified and sensor data are evaluated to determine at least one characteristic pertinent to the respective events. The plurality of detected events and the characteristic pertinent thereto are reported. At least one pertinent event generation part is capable of operating to generate at least one pertinent event and to generate at least one event report. A given event report provides at least one characteristic pertinent to the pertinent event. This event filtering system identifies at least one pertinent event among the plurality of detected events by comparing at least one event report with the detected events.
