摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal physical property measuring method and a measuring system for performing simultaneous measurement with high accuracy on a cell thickness, an elastic constant, and polar anchoring strengths. SOLUTION: Measurement is performed onΔ<SB>AnE</SB>of a hybrid alignment nematic liquid crystal cell 1 at two or more incident angles in a surface substantially perpendicular to a rubbing direction. Pre-tilt anglesθ<SB>0</SB>andθ<SB>d</SB>on the parallel alignment layer 13A side (lower side) and on the vertical alignment layer 12A side (upper side), a cell thickness d, and an elastic constant ratio k are determined by fittingΔ<SB>AnE</SB>to a simulation calculation value.
