PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device for a floor, which can be safely used because it can efficiently prevent the bending of a cover plate, even if the amount of movement of a joint plate is set large, and which can absorb the shaking of right and left buildings without being damaged, even if the buildings are shaken in a bent manner. SOLUTION: This joint device 1 for the floor is equipped with: a guide rail 10 which is installed in the lower position of an opening 8 formed on the outer wall surface of the passage of one building; the joint plate, the back end of which is mounted slidably along the guide rail, and the leading end of which is slidably supported on the floor surface of the passage of the other building provided via the joint; and the cover plate 14 which is mounted on the skeleton of the other building in such a manner that a leading end of the joint plate can slide in a horizontal direction. The joint device 1 comprises a plurality of split joint plates in which the joint plates are engaged with one another via a horizontally slidable engaging part, and a slider which moves along the guide rail and to which almost central parts of back ends of the plurality of split joint plates are attached via a pivoting pin 31.
