Tool for machining rocks has diamond segments fitted to surface used for machining rocks

The tool consists of a rotary-symmetrical base body (1) with a circular machining surface of known design for clamping in machine tools of several different kinds. Industrially-produced diamond segments (2) are fitted to the surface used for machining the rock. The segments fit in receivers (4). The tool is held together by screw joints (3) and attached to the machine tool via through holes (5).
