<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of accurately rotating a rotating body at constant speed by restraining the speed variation of the rotating body by easy control without mounting an expensive device such as an encoder in an image forming apparatus main body, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A color printer 1 is the image forming apparatus where an image on an image carrying rotating body is transferred to a medium while rotating the image carrying rotating body by a driving source, and includes a program storage part for storing a correction driving program to negate speed irregularity extending over a period of more than one rotation of the image carrying rotating body, and a control part 20 controlling the driving source to rotate the image carrying rotating body at constant speed based on the correction driving program stored in the program storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
