<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a listening region for obtaining an optimum tone quality by extending a virtual room size, and to realize the front normal position of a sound independent of place of a listener. <P>SOLUTION: An audio reproducer reproduces two channels or more of audio signals containing at least a left-channel audio signal and a right-channel audio signal. In the audio reproducer, the left-channel audio signal and the right-channel audio signal are mixed and output from a central loudspeaker 11FC, a left front loudspeaker 11FL is supplied with the left-channel audio signal while being delayed for a first delay time, and a left rear loudspeaker 11RL is supplied with the left-channel audio signal while being delayed for a second delay time. In the audio reproducer, a right front loudspeaker 11FR is supplied with the right-channel audio signal while being delayed for the first delay time, a right rear loudspeaker 11RL is supplied with the right-channel audio signal while being delayed for the second delay time, and the virtual room size can be set using the central loudspeaker 11FC as a time-base reference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
