PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrist watch having a side rim having a precise movement suspended therein, a transparent glass cover with a circular edge part and a transparent case back. SOLUTION: This wrist watch of the present invention is provided with the side rim 7 suspended with the precise movement in its inside, and the circular edge part 34, the edge part is partitioned by a contact plane having contact faces 5, 6 of the glass cover 1 with the caseback 2 respectively, and supported by both sides of the side rim 7. The side rim 7 has a metal outer ring 8 surrounding an inner ring 9 made of a transparent material. The contact faces 5, 6 of the glass cover 1 with the caseback 2 are fixed respectively onto upper and lower surfaces of the outer ring 8, using an adhesive, and the inner ring 9 is held between the contact faces 5, 6 of the glass cover 1 with the caseback 2 to make the wrist watch get transparent in a circular zone 15 around the precise movement 10, and is extended along a back radial direction of the contact faces 5, 6 toward an inside of the wrist watch to suspend the precise movement 10.
