PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a mobile station device in a conventional wireless communication system requires a mounting space for two receivers and needs increased power consumption, the device has to mount receivers compliant with different two wireless methods and to operate always both of the receivers simultaneously. SOLUTION: A mobile station device 100 comprises one communication equipment 50 having a function for supporting two different wireless method, a digital wireless method, and an analog wireless method. A determining portion 16 inputs an information for determination, and determines either of the digital wireless method and the analog wireless method to be selected based on the inputted information. A control unit 15 controls the communication portion 50 to select the selected wireless method determined by the determining portion 16. According to the arrangement, a wireless method supported by the communication portion 50 can be switched according to the change of the wireless method.
