摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP improved in reliability which is capable of reducing impure gas generated from a seal portion and does not deteriorate performance of a protection film and a dielectric layer. SOLUTION: The seal portion pasting a pair of front glass substrate 1 and a rear glass substrate 2 opposed to each other has a double sealing structure of an inner seal part 152 formed at the discharge space 4 side and an outer seal part 151 formed at the outer surrounding of the inner seal part 152 with a spacing; and the seal part space 5 formed by the outer seal part 151 and the inner seal part 152 is made into a pressure lower than the discharge space 4.
