<p>A carton includes a plurality of interconnected panels (12, 14, 16, 18, 20) for forming the carton walls and a carrying handle. The carrying handle is formed across at least a first panel (16) having a pair of opposed side edges (24, 26). The carrying handle includes first and second frangible lines (102, 98) defining a handle strap (90) extending transversely of the opposed side edges. The first and second frangible lines are of different lengths and/or shape such that the carrying handle is asymmetric about a notional axis extending along the length of the handle strap.</p> |
