A box and match package wherein a container 1 having front 2, back 3, end 6, 7 and side 4, 5 walls is provided with a plurality of matches 3a that are integral and co-planar with the container 1. In one form, perforations 3b are provided between the matches 3a and the back wall 3 so that the matches 3a can be individually torn from the back wall 3. A match-striking surface 7b is provided on an end wall 7. The front wall 2 may include a window portion 2a, and the back wall 3 may include a foldable panel 3f for covering the matches 3a.
