Drive system for activating/deactivating motion transmission in sailing boats

A servo-pneumatic drive system for activating/deactivating motion transmissions in sailing boats is disclosed. The drive system includes a compressed air reservoir 7 connected to a pneumatic circuit 12 in order to control pneumatic actuators following activation of a switch 8 by a crew member. The drive system is used to control the configuration of motion transmission devices on the sailing boat, for example the connections between the pedestals 3 and winches 2 on the boat, in a manner more rapid than a mechanical drive system.
