<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode unit for cathodic protection, which has an anode having a higher allowable current density and thereby being miniaturized, consequently facilitates fabrication, uniformizes the distribution of a current passing from the anode and thereby enables efficient cathodic-protection, and to provide a concrete structure using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This anode unit comprises the anode 11 made of a carbon fiber sheet coated with an oxidation-resistant metal, and a back-fill material 12, which are accommodated in a vessel 13. The back-fill material comprises a polyacrylate-based water-absorbing polymer material which absorbs an alkaline aqueous solution, and a water-absorptive porous member formed from a resin material. The porous member is fixed so as to abut with a concrete surface, and the porous member and the water-absorbing polymer material are arrange such that they can keep a contacting state with each other even when the water-absorbing polymer material is dried and shrunk. The alkaline aqueous solution absorbed in the back-fill material is an aqueous solution containing at least one of NaOH and LiOH. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
